About the design
This exclusive collaboration with artist Kumi was inspired by the Korean folk tale "The Brother and Sister Who Became the Sun and Moon" or "해와 달이 된 오누이." In the story, orphaned siblings turn into the sun and moon after escaping a bloodthirsty tiger. We are thankful to have Haan's very own Kyle Cortes create the artwork through his practice, Kumi, as we continue our initiative to partner with local artists.

About the artist
Kumi is a Japanese-Colombian painter, street artist, and graphic designer based in Orlando. His work consists of paintings, prints, and streetwear that boldly express diverse traditions and mixed heritage. In Japanese, there is a phrase called “kumiageru”, which translates to “building up” with what you have. Kumi is the idea of building from nothing: the bottom up, the creative process of nonexistence. See more of his work at: kumi._world
